Like-Minded Professionals with Like-Minded Audiences

Last week, I had the honor of spending all day with 2 of the most successful and dynamic people I have ever met. All 3 of us are launching our online virtual training programs on the best virtual training platform there is in our opinion–Lightspeed VT. Tony Capullo, my business partner, had the idea to bring us 3 together, as he was convinced we could all pyramid hop with our varying content that our target audiences can use.

Janine Driver: The “Lyin’ Tamer”

Janine is known as the “Lyin’ Tamer” because she is one of the foremost experts in the world in reading body language AND teaching others to read body language in order to become more effective. She is a former ATF agent and has trained over 60,000 lawyers, judges, and law enforcement personnel on how to read body language. She is the founder and president of the Body Language Institute, with clients ranging from Coca Cola and Procter & Gamble to AOL and Lockheed Martin, to name a few. She is also a New York Times best-selling author and has been on the Today Show, Larry King Live, and The Rachael Ray show. She is an unbelievable resource and had me pegged in 2 minutes as I drank a soda.

Tim S. Marshall: The Power of Emotion

Tim S. Marshall is an award-winning author of 6 books based on the incredible career he’s had as the top Account Manager in the world for a Fortune 500 company for 10 years in a row. He then started his own technology company that was recognized 4 years in a row by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in America. Tim consults with Fortune 500 companies and entrepreneurs and is one of the most gifted consultants and entrepreneurs I’ve ever known. His book, The Power of Breaking Fear: The Secret to Emotional Power, Wealth, and True Happiness, is a must-read for anyone who wants or needs to make a permanent and overwhelming change in their life.

You Are Who You Hang Out With

I’ve heard it said many times that you become the people you most associate with. When you can associate with people like Tony, Janine, and Tim, it’s impossible not to learn and grow incredibly.

We had such a great time collaborating that we decided to do it again next month. While we may not know what our business collaboration will look like in the future, we do know that we loved working with each other and that if we go forward together, we will be more successful than going at it alone.

That’s the point of this post.

The people we associate with either lift us up, pull us down, or have no impact on our growth and development. I want to be around people that help me grow. Tony, Tim, and Janine do that. How many of my customers or followers could improve their lives if they knew how to read or properly implement body language? I can tell you: most of them.

How many of my customers or followers need to master breaking through fear and finding true happiness that could lead to wealth and the power to succeed when succeeding isn’t easy? I can tell you: most of them.

Learn From Your Friends, Colleagues, Connections

Having enjoyed their company so much, I can’t wait to go through my colleagues’ online virtual training courses and soak up every nugget of wisdom I can that will inevitably help me and my company succeed.

The Future of Friendship in Business

You never know what your connections and relationships will lead to.

For us, keep your eyes open for an event we’re envisioning, called “Perfect Storm.” At this event, we want the 3 of us to bring together hundreds of people who want the ideas, concepts, and wisdom this collaboration has to offer. We want them to have a chance to be impacted greatly, so they can be all they were meant to be.

I know I have fears that Tim can help me break through. I know he has ideas about entrepreneurship that will make me a better entrepreneur. I know that learning how to read body language will make me a better husband, father, and salesperson. I also believe that ideas  I share about goal setting, relationship building, and being great at selling WITHOUT being pushy and aggressive will likely be beneficial in some way to them

Two Heads Are Better Than One in Business

….and four heads are twice as good as long as each party brings:

  • Humility
  • Wisdom
  • Integrity
  • Passion for helping others succeed

I know that the 4 of us (Tony, Tim, Janine, and myself) have found all of this in each other, and I cannot wait to see how we utilize this collaboration to improve people’s lives and hopefully the world. One thing’s for sure; my world became way better last week because I found 2 new people to associate and work with, who will make me grow.

Again, you are who you associate with. I am honored to be collaborating with Tony, Janine, and Tim. And soon, the entire world can have the chance to use our experience and wisdom to change their lives and make the impact they were put here to make.

There IS greatness in you! Find people who dare it to come out!
